Launching The Peter O’Brien Tweed Coat 2022

So good we’ve done it again! The great sellout success of our gorgeous Peter O’Brien 2021 coats meant we had you calling, emailing and dropping into us in the shop to were we doing more.

It is a joy and honour to work with our dear friend Peter again this year to design our gorgeous tweed coat. Peter is a rare treasure and one of Ireland’s most talented and experienced designers, having worked for Christian Dior, Givenchy, and Chloe, and he was creative director at the house of Rochas in Paris for over 12 years.

Today he lives in Dublin and is an award-winning costume designer for both theatre and film. Peter is also an associate lecturer at IADT in Dublin. Following on from the sell-out success of last year's collaborative tweed coat with Peter, we decided we’d take a slightly different approach to this season’s coat. Based on that timeless classic; a men's single-breasted, notch-collared, Chesterfield in two colours. This will certainly become a wardrobe staple for many seasons to come.

Fabricated in Irish tweed for warmth, durability and beauty. The tweed is woven by our good friend Andrew at Kerry Woollen Mills, which is a family-run mill that is over 300 years old, and the coat is made here in Dublin.

Order soon to avoid disappointment! You can see an interview we did with Peter recently below.
