This extra large blanket features our signature technique, the herringbone pattern. This pattern is central to the story of Ireland's textile history and has been recorded in Ireland as far back as 600BC. Woven with Irish wool, our Herringbone blankets are of exceptional quality. You will find the Herringbone in many of our pieces.
In the final stages of making these blankets, they are pressed as opposed to brushed so as to give a finer, smoother finish. A generous size, these Herringbones blankets look great on the sofa, across an armchair or over a double bed. We take the time to weave, wash, brush and fringe the STABLE Herringbone so it will last generations to come. Trimmed with leather for a minimal edge.
100% wool. Woven by hand then washed, pressed and finished to last generations in Donegal.
Size 2.0 metres x 1.4metres long. Larger sizes on request to be priced accordingly.
Dry clean or hand wash in cold water, dry flat naturally.
