The Texture of Life

Founded in 2015 by Francie Duff and Sonia Reynolds, STABLE’s wish is to present the very best of Irish style and traditions to like-minded people the world over, who value quality craft and the time it takes to make something truly special.

At STABLE of Ireland we champion timeless craftsmanship to turn simple, beautiful things into memorable gifting experiences.

We love our tiny island and are inspired daily by its rich culture, beauty, creativity and traditions. We work with the very best of weavers and knitters from all over Ireland, both North and South, both young and old. They are cherished, respected friends and a vital part of our STABLE team, whom we champion every day. With STABLE, we want to celebrate and share what we as a nation have to offer by designing and making scarves, clothing and home accessories with the purest Irish Linen, Wool, handwoven Wool, Cashmere and Alpaca. We nurture and support the extraordinary skills across the country of Ireland, promoting the quality of these modern originals, to put Ireland on the world stage of luxury textiles where it belongs.

''The STABLE ethos is to celebrate what we, as a nation, have to offer by designing and making scarves, clothing and home accessories using Irish linen, handwoven wool, cashmere and alpaca.''

Five years since opening their first permanent shop, Stable of Ireland founders Sonia Reynolds and Francie Duff reflect on navigating a friendship while growing their brand, the changes Covid brought to the retail landscape and their ongoing mission to support traditional Irish crafts.

Family & Friends

We refuse to see the disappearance of the hand, the story or the journey that comes with fine craftsmanship. We work with over 30 different makers in Ireland.

Celebrating All Things Irish

We have striven to create a place of excellence for Irish linen and textiles at our Dublin shop, off Grafton Street. Our shop has become a destination for people from both home and abroad who love the creativity of Irish craft and design.
